LADY EAGLES RECEIVE BASKETBALL ALL DISTRICT HONORS

THREE LADY EAGLES SELECTED TO FIRST TEAM ALL DISTRICT

With the all to soon exit in the Regional Semi Finals of Girls State Basketball Playoffs still fresh on their minds, the Lady Eagles Basketball team started receiving some individual recognition late last week. Coach Steve Schmidt announced that three of his Lady Eagles had been named to the District 8-3A First Team All District Team by the District's Coaches last week.

Junior Jessica Bonfield was voted the Districts Defensive Player of the Year. Junior Emmar Forrer and Sophomore Colbea Harris were also selected as First Team All District players. In addition to the first team selections Brittany O'Brien, Amy Beecher and Sally Smith were selected as Honorable Mention All District.
