Control of District 8AAA is on the line Friday night, in Argyle, when the the Argyle Lady Eagles ranked #14 in the most recent coaches poll play the #15 Lady Jackrabitts from Bowie.  Both teams are 9-1 in district play and the winner will be in the driver's seat to win the district crown and take the top seed into the State playoffs.  Game time is at 6:30 at Argyle High School

The Lady Eagles have won 6 straight district games since the Lady Jackrabbits handed them their only district loss on January 3rd in Bowie.  Coach Steve Schmidt's tough, young team will be looking for revenge from the earlier loss where the Lady Eagles played with a short deck.  Three key players for Argyle were sidelined in Bowie with injuries yet the Lady Eagles played valiently before finally giving in to a good Bowie team.

This promises to be an outstanding girls high school basketball game and the Lady Eagles are looking for a big crowd to be on hand to make things difficult for the Bowie team.  Call all of your friends and neighbors and be ready to be loud and rowdy to support one the best girls basketball teams in the State to an important win.  Let's fill the gym with LOUD & PROUD LADY EAGLES FANS!!
