The Argyle Eagles left it all out on the field at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington before coming up short 21-14 to the Wimberley Texans in yesterday's state champtionship game.
The Eagles showed great character fighting through big plays by the Texans, illness,and injuries - you made us proud to be Argyle Eagles. Congratulations to the Wimberley Texans, you're a very worthy state champion.

The Argyle Eagles fell to the Carthage Bulldogs 44-27 in the state quarterfinals last Friday night in Tyler. While the season ended two games too short for the Eagles, it was an amazing season with a school record 13 wins and the school's first class 3A regional final appearance. We're proud of every one of the Argyle Eagles who took us all on a great ride this season!
